Steve Morris, the president of Arbitron Ratings, sent me a letter today. How nice of him. "I am writing you this note to emphasize, again, how important your help is to us, to the broadcasting industry, and even to your household - because, as we mentioned before, your accurate and complete diaries provide vital information to those who plan radio programs for your future enjoyment." Wow, I guess I really do have a voice. What a relief. For a moment there I thought I was just another foolish cog being force-fed whatever Infinity, Disney and AMFM wanted me to hear.
