RSVP: Please RSVP by Thursday, October 9th by calling (612) 703-3772 or emailing Mark at turkey@nonlocality.com.

What to bring: Turkey Party 2003 will be quasi-potluck: It would be cool if you brought something, but please do not feel obligated to do so. (If you feel like contributing, please contact Mark to make sure you're not doubling up on someone else.) In addition to the turkey, Mark will provide the essentials, including the vegetarian dish, wine, and some interesting non-alcoholic beverages. (Mark couldn't identify a good beer to save his life, so if you want that kind of refreshment, please bring it with you.)

Help Wanted

Dinner parties can be complicated events, especially when a 15-pound turkey and eight gallons of 300-degree vegetable oil are involved. Mark needs one or two people to help out starting around 5:30 through the time the bird is served. Volunteers will be compensated with a small gift and lots of appreciation. If interested, please contact him at turkey@nonlocality.com.

Background

Mark's employer gives him a turkey for Thanksgiving every year and he needs to restore space in his freezer before he gets another one. Over the past three years, these attempts at space conservation has proven themselves to be good excuses for a party.

Not only will 2003 will be the Turkey Party's fourth year, it'll be the third year a deep-fryer will be involved in the cooking of the turkey. Last year's bird didn't turn out quite as good as 2001's did, but we hope to make up for that this year.

If you're bored, the 2002, 2001 and 2000 Turkey Party websites are still available.
