Welcome to my portfolio. Below you will find links to screenshots of some of my work. In some cases, where the sites haven't changed significantly since they went live (which usually is when I lose control of them), links are included to the actual site for your perusal. For the record, all work shown from my time at West Legal Directory and lawoffice.com is © 1999-2001 West Group, Eagan, Minnesota, and is used by permission. Inclusion of a firm or individual's site does not necessarily constitute an endorsement by the firm.

Unless noted, all sites were created using Photoshop and HomeSite, Notepad or SimpleText.

This is sort of a beta version of my portfolio, so right now I only have sites up from my present job at West Legal Directory (lawoffice.com).

Smith, Currie & Hancock

The firm was looking for a striking site that provided easy access to their four main practice areas and kept their name prominent throughout. The site went live in October of 1999, and the bright colors that made it stand out were dumped a few months later.

Henry, Buchanan, Hudson, Suber, Carter & Kaywell, L.C.

In this case, the firm was looking for a subdued but professional look for its site, and was interested in a collage representing its area of practice. This site went live late in March 2000 and can be seen at http://kaylaw.lawoffice.com.

Law Offices Of Scott J. Jontiff, P.A.

The client wanted a strong emphasis put on his geographical place of practice. This site, located at http://www.jontiff.com, went live in December of 1999.

Law Offices of John D. Bredfeldt

This site went live in February of 2000. See it at http://www.wcabdefense.com.

"Danielson, Wright & Sullivan"

This demonstration site was created to show potential clients a design package available to them. As is probably obvious, I got to make up the firm's name.

CanAmerica Immigration

This was a somewhat involved project that included integrating information from the lawyer's existing site. Specializing in immigration law, the lawyer saw lighthouses as a welcoming beacon. Hence the lighthouse. The site went live in February 2000.

Osborn Smith PLLC

A variation on the "We want our city on our Website" trend. Although the main graphic is bloated, I worked hard to keep file sizes low elsewhere. The site, which went live in April of 2000, makes substantial use of style sheets and can be seen at http://www.osbornsmith.com.

Law Offices Of Mark A. Risi

This site went live in February of 2000.

Kurasch Rolenc & Karchmar, LTD

Another cityscape site, this one admittedly more graphically bloated than the others. The firm also wanted graphical representations of the areas they practiced in. Although I tried cutting up the Photoshop document in many different ways, in the end the file size ended up being smallest with just one big image. The site, which went live in February of 2000, can be seen at http://chicagopilaw.lawoffice.com.

SandersBakerPC

The firm was looking to build a straight-forward, fast-loading and content rich site. Unfortunately, much of the content originally intended for the site wasn't able to get there, rendering the breadcrumb navigation somewhat useless. This site went live in April of 2000. See it at http://www.sandersbaker.com.

Album, Stovall, Radecker & Giordano, LLC

The firm wanted their Website to be stylistically consistent with their existing marketing materials. As a result, the site looks more than just a little similar to some of their pamphlets. It went live in May of 2000.
